Community Workshops
At Mén Beni, community workshops are the threads that weave us together, fostering connections and sharing stories as we play an active role in our collective healing journey. We intend to always align ourselves with organizations that share our values of environmental stewardship, mental wellness, and interconnectedness. Grounded in the principles of the 3Rs—ReNew, ReConnect, and ReAwaken—we strive to cultivate meaningful relationships and expand our knowledge base.
We are committed to reaching every woman, child, and community member, especially those residing in food deserts, Title I schools and underserved areas lacking access to resources and support networks. By coming together, sharing wisdom, and supporting one another, we empower each other to vibrate on a higher frequency and create positive change within ourselves and our communities. Join us in this journey of growth, connection, and transformation with Mén Beni.
Children’s Village at the Givers Revival 2023
Mèn Beni Gardening was honored to participate in the Givers Revival Fellowship, where we co-created a three-day immersive experience for children ages 4 to 17.
While parents attended the Givers Revival, they could rest assured knowing their children were not only cared for, but deeply nurtured through nature-based healing. Hosted at the serene Patch of Heaven Sanctuary in Homestead, Florida, our program was rooted in connection to land, natural living, and inner peace.
An overnight stay filled with storytelling, rest, and reflection. This offering allowed us to build meaningful bonds with both the children and their parents planting seeds of wellness, curiosity, and love that continue to bloom long after the weekend ended.

A Sacred Encounter with Nature
As part of our Givers Revival programming, we journeyed to a Butterfly Sanctuary — a magical oasis where nature revealed its quiet wisdom and beauty.
Surrounded by the gentle sounds of a cascading waterfall and the soft flutter of wings, children were invited into a space of peace, curiosity, and reverence. The sanctuary offered more than beauty it became a classroom of the soul.
Through hands-on activities and guided reflection, we explored themes of:
Land stewardship
The balance between mind, body, and spirit
The healing power of stillness and natural elements
This moment allowed children to not only witness the transformative journey of butterflies, but to reflect on their own growth, healing, and sacred connection to the Earth.
Elemental Blessing
One of the most powerful moments during the Givers Revival experience was the Harambee circle, where children, staff, and community members were brought together in a call-and-response of unity. The Harambee song, meaning "all pull together," served as a musical embodiment of collective strength, intention, and ancestral pride.
Following this, spiritual leaders led a sacred blessing ceremony — invoking the four elements:Fire, Water, Wind, Earth.
Each child was honored and blessed within this elemental ritual, reminding us that we are not separate from nature, but deeply woven into its sacred design. The ceremony fostered a sense of gratitude, protection, and deep reverence for the forces that sustain life
Flower Children World with Say Sukii 2023
Mèn Beni Gardening joined forces with Flower Children World by Say Sukii to plant seeds of sustainability, creativity, and environmental care in the hearts of our youngest community members.
This collaboration brought together our shared commitment to nurturing a deeper relationship with the Earth — through hands-on activities, workshops, and nature-based learning experiences designed specifically for children and families.
Mèn Beni Gardening offered its deep-rooted knowledge in eco-conscious living and land connection, while Flower Children World by Say Sukii brought vibrant energy and creative expression to the partnership. Together, we created engaging opportunities for young minds to explore the environment, learn sustainable practices, and discover the beauty of stewardship through play, art, and storytelling.
This partnership reflects our belief that when we teach the children, we transform the future — one garden, one workshop, and one sacred gathering at a time.

At the Mèn Beni Gardening and Flower ChildrenWorld by Say Sukii workshop, we emphasized the importance of sustainable practices starting from our homes. One of the activities involved creating compost pillars, where children painted towers and drilled holes for later placement in the Sukii Sanctuary. By adding compost to these towers, plants would directly benefit from the nutrient-rich soil. This engaging activity not only allowed children to express their creativity but also encouraged discussions on reducing food waste and embracing eco-friendly habits.
