Mén Beni Gardening is a transformative nonprofit rooted in community, wellness, and sustainability. Founded by Fabienne Fabi “Mén Beni” Polycarpe, this Miami-based organization empowers the BIPOC community by blending cultural gardening practices with holistic wellness. Their impactful work extends across various initiatives that renew the body, reconnect the mind, and reawaken the spirit.

One of their standout events is the annual Environmental Summit focused on Black Futurism, where experts gather to discuss sustainable practices, the impact of gentrification, and envisioning a better future for Black communities. Mén Beni Gardening also hosts Mindful Sundays, bringing women together to connect through gardening, meditation, and reflection aligned with the zodiac season.

The Papillon in the Garden program is an 8-week series offering journaling, therapeutic gardening, and workshops led by healers, yoga instructors, and financial advisors, creating a space for transformative healing for BIPOC women. In addition, they observe Haitian Flag Day by feeding the homeless, serving culturally inspired meals, and planning to expand this service with resources like portable showers and medical services.

Mén Beni Gardening collaborates with various partners, including Chef Creole, and Overtown Farms, to maximize their impact. Their programming is designed to address food insecurity, promote mental well-being, and create grounding spaces within the community. Through initiatives like the Title One school programming and upcoming Give Miami Day campaign, they continue to cultivate a sustainable future, bringing healing and empowerment to Miami and beyond.
