Events at Mèn Beni Gardening

Healing. Culture. Community.

At Mèn Beni Gardening, our events are more than gatherings—they are immersive, restorative experiences grounded in our mission to Renew the body, Reconnect the mind, and Reawaken the spirit. Through nature-based programming, we offer transformative spaces that nurture self, celebrate culture, and build collective care.

Year-Round Programming

Papillon in the Garden
A seasonal 4-week healing series designed for mothers and children. This program blends therapeutic gardening, yoga, journaling, ancestral teachings, and cultural storytelling to support emotional well-being and connection across generations.

Sip and Plant
Our signature wellness workshop, Sip and Plant brings together community, mindfulness, and creativity. Participants leave with their own potted plant, new tools for self-care, and a deeper connection to nature.

Mind-Full Sundays
Held monthly and aligned with the zodiac season, these gatherings offer yoga, meditation, and reflection tailored to support women of color in grounding and releasing.

Fèy in the Garden
Hands-on workshops rooted in Haitian herbalism. Participants learn the uses of traditional plants, cultural practices, and how to reconnect with the healing power of the land.

School and Community Gardens
We build and activate gardens in schools and community spaces to teach sustainability, nutrition, and emotional intelligence. These programs provide youth and families with hands-on tools for lifelong wellness.

Manjé Avec Mwen - Haitian Flag Day

Manjé Avec Mwen is a call to action for those who want to support the 2nd Annual Feed the Homeless Initiative. By donating time, individuals can volunteer at the event, providing hands-on support to those in need. Financial contributions allow for the purchase and distribution of meals, while showing care embodies the spirit of community, connection, and compassion that this initiative is built on. Every form of support helps uplift the Little Haiti community and those facing hardship.

In addition to providing free meals, Manje Avè Mwen will offer essential services to those in need. We will provide showers for individuals to refresh, along with toiletry bags filled with hygiene essentials. Mental and medical care will also be available, ensuring holistic support for the community. These services are designed to address both immediate and long-term needs, fostering dignity, well-being, and a deep sense of care for everyone involved.
